5 Beauty Hacks to Help You Glow Down the Aisle

Your wedding day is one that you want to remember for the rest of your life, so it’s important that you go into this event looking and feeling your best! To help you glow down the aisle, follow these five beauty hacks:

1. Talk With the Experts

First things first, talk with the experts about your pre-wedding beauty rituals. Between consulting a dermatologist, meeting with a hairstylist, and/or scheduling an appointment with a professional makeup artist, you’re more likely to ensure that the beauty hacks you follow prior to your wedding are fitting for you, your skin, hair, and overall wedding look goals!

2. Use Preventative Treatment Products

Regardless of whether you have a combination/normal skin type or an oily/acne-prone skin type, using preventative treatment products is a must in the weeks leading up to your wedding. Doing so will help to combat any concerns arising before your special day. Make sure that you have read the ingredient of the product very carefully as fighting skin irritation wouldn’t be the best idea before your wedding day. For avoiding unwanted situations try to understand your skin type and use natural and organic products. For instance, if you have a normal or combination skin type you can use natural goat milk soaps which are rich in natural fatty acids and will gently remove dead skin and rejuvenate your skin without causing any skin rashes. However, if you have oily skin make sure that the products you are using won't dry out all the moisture from your skin. Upgrading your skincare stash to include acne products or other preventative treatments can help keep your skin clean, clear, and wedding-season ready!

3. Add Antioxidants to Your Pre-Wedding Diet

Antioxidants are a tried-and-true skincare ingredient as they work to reduce inflammation and repair the skin, helping it to correct any visible signs of damage. What’s great about antioxidants is that they are easily accessible, both through the foods you eat and other over-the-counter skincare products you buy. This means that even if you haven’t incorporated this ingredient into your current routine, there’s still time to reap the benefits by adding them to your pre-wedding diet.  As you get closer to marrying the person of your dreams, try to opt for antioxidants foods such as kale, spinach, carrots, and broccoli as these serve to boost your beautiful complexion and further flatter your gorgeous bridal figure.

4. Skip Tanning, Stick to Spray Tans

By now, you’re probably aware of the dangers of traditional tanning, which is why opting for a spray tan or another self-tanning product is the best option when it comes to darkening and enhancing your complexion. If you’re trying out a new product or spray tanning service, be sure to go through a “trial run” so that you can have a chance to test it out before committing to it as part of your wedding day look.

5. Take Collagen-Boosting Supplements

Upping your collagen game prior to your wedding is also a good idea as this protein is a building block for healthy skin, nails, and hair. Although your body naturally produces it on its own, taking collagen-boosting supplements like Biotin or a Peptide powder can further enhance the production of collagen within your body and ultimately, enhance your bridal glow.

Get Your Glow On

Preparing for your wedding is one like no other, so it’s critical that you take some time to do things that make you feel most beautiful. As you get ready to say your “I dos” remember to follow these beauty hacks as these will support your radiant glow as you walk down the aisle on your special day.
