Jody + Kye | Intimate courthouse wedding

If you’ve been around this blog for a while, you know that I’m a sucker for courthouse weddings. I LOVE them. It is such a fun way to spend a lunch hour… hanging out with people on one of the happiest days of their lives, even if only for an hour.

Jody + Kye were out in front of the courthouse pinning on boutonnieres and such when I arrived, so I started snapping right away! We then made our way through the metal detectors (no phones allowed!). Empty your pockets, take off your belts, you may still get wanded anyway. It comes with the territory! :)

There were I think 5 weddings that day, so we had to wait a bit for our turn, but I took that opportunity to get some portraits of the couple, some family group photos, and some candid shots of the couple interacting with each other and chatting with their friends and families.

And how amazing was Jody’s bouquet??? It was created by Delight Flower Farm, and was perfect for a fall wedding, complementing Jody’s dress so perfectly. Following the ceremony with Judge Rosenbaum, we headed outside to do a few more portraits outside the pretty courthouse building. Congrats, Jody + Kye! Thank you for bringing me along to your official nuptials!!
