Kahlil | Downtown Champaign session for Centennial Senior

For Kahlil’s story, I have to back up like 10 years to when I first met his dad, Anthony. I don’t remember where we first met exactly, but I think it may have been one of those business-sponsored free chair massage events. So then for a while, Anthony became my massage therapist and off an on over the years I’ve gone to see him when my body needed some TLC.

This past fall, we were talking about Kahlil and how he’s a senior now (crazy how time flies!!), and he needed senior pictures. We finally got it scheduled in late November, and of course it was the coldest day of the year so far! We made a plan though and ducked in and out of some businesses and drank hot drinks while we walked around for the session.

Kahlil is an awesome, driven young man who has a bright future ahead of him! He’s been involved in lots of varying extracurriculars throughout his time at Centennial High School. And I think it is so smart to try lots of different things while you’re in high school and have access to those things and learn what you like and don’t like before you are on your own or headed to college. Kahlil currently works in a kitchen and wants to eventually go to cooking school.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, Kahlil!
