Nicole + Neil | Orange + blue wedding at Pear Tree Estate

Gosh, I had been looking forward to this one for a LONG time! (You can go back and view Nicole + Neil’s backyard micro wedding here if you’d like!) But May 2 was the BIG DAY finally, and I believe Pastor Cory called it plan “C-3” after many, many revisions to the plan due to COVID.

Pear Tree Estate was decked out in orange and blue, and Nicole looked absolutely perfect. The ladies had a relaxing morning in a bridal suite at the iHotel, followed by the First Look with her dad which was a tear-jerker!!

We fought with the wind quite a bit, but I actually love some of the photos where the wind was prominent… Nicole’s tendrils blowing gently, the way it captured her veil and swirled it into a lovely S-curve.

I have to tell you a bit about Nicole’s first dance with her dad… she had dreamed of this moment since she was a little girl. There’s a scene from the movie Elizabethtown where a papier-mache bird is flown in while the band plays Freebird. It catches on fire and hilarity ensues… luckily that didn’t happen, but I have to say it was pretty funny watching bridesman Chris run around the dancefloor with this bird on a pole!!

Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with heartfelt toasts and thank yous. And Nicole + Neil finally got the wedding of their dreams surrounded by their friends and family!
