Paige + Kyle | JW Marriott Hotel wedding | Chicago
In early July, I spent a day driving to and from Chicago with my good friend Rebekah Albaugh, working as her second photographer for the day. It was a gorgeous wedding and beautiful day, with nearly perfect weather for a mid-summer event. I started out with the Kyle and the guys in the groom's suite at the JW Marriott hotel. I knew immediately that I was in good company as the guys were watching "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," one of my husband's & my favorite TV shows. I also heard a few quotes from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" tossed around throughout the day -- hilarious! We met up with Rebekah in the lobby to get ready for the First Look with Paige + KYle, followed by wedding party portraits down the block at the Chicago Board of Trade. We then took a trolley around the city to a park near Lake Michigan, and by the Chicago River near the Wrigley Building and Trump Tower. We found some truly beautiful pockets of light and Paige + Kyle looked stunning! Following the ceremony at St. Chyrsostom's Episcopal Church, we headed back to the Marriott for the reception, which was beautifully decorated in black, white and gold.
