We’ve had a lot of hot, humid, crummy weather for the month of June, but Addy + Jason just so happened to pick the Saturday in June for their wedding.

For photos, we started out with Jason, the groomsmen, and Jason’s family. Since the bride and groom share the getting ready/cooling space at Miller Farms Barn, we put Jason back safely inside before bringing out Addy, her bridesmaids, and her family. In between, I was also able to sneak in some reception details and some ring/program pictures with my flat lay kit.

We did all the photos on the grounds at Miller Farms Barn (my first time visiting!) and the staff was helpful in showing me some of the shadier, more picturesque spots on the property where we could get away from the cocktail party guests for a bit. We found some pretty light and had some time to let the couple breathe and hang out together!

Addy + Jason were surrounded by their closest friends and family for the entire day. Lots of friends stepped in to help decorate, and make baked goods, among other things. I loved the navy + lavender theme, and the “wheat” touches that added texture to the bouquets and boutonnieres.

One of the highlights of the day was definitely the visit by the Sidney Dairy Barn bus, where the bride and groom got a special treat, and I even got a dish too! I mentioned the baked goods before, and while I heard great things about grandma’s pecan pie, I was too late for it, so I opted for a homemade chocolate chip cookie and a caramel brownie. Yum!

I have to take a second to shout out the awesomeness that was Addy’s Hayley Paige dress, trumpet style and beaded from head-to-toe in a styled I have not seen before!

I want to wish Addy + Jason many years of happiness in their marriage! Congrats!! <3
