Amanda + Matt | Champaign Holy Cross + Hilton Wedding
We lucked out and got another beautiful day for Matt + Amanda's wedding near the end of August. Their wedding party was definitely a rowdy bunch, but that helped us get a bunch of fun, relaxed group photos. I once again made a pilgrimage to the Tumble Inn (for those of you keeping score at home, that was the THIRD trip this year for a wedding!!). I think this needs to become a tradition! We had one slight mishap at the bar when the limo bus died in the parking lot, but thanks to the jumper cables in my car and the ol' Maverick (my small SUV), we were able to jump it. And it didn't put us off schedule at all, which is always a plus. I am love, love, loving the shots in front of the brick wall/parking lot, and especially the mock DVD cover from the movie Bridesmaids. I think we nearly nailed it! This groomsman was getting out of line ALL DAY! ;)
Then it was on to West Side Park for some wedding party portraits with some green grass -- finally!!
And then we hit up downtown Champaign for some more urban portraits. Some of these parking lot photos are my new favorites!
Matt really was such a good sport. He HATES having his picture taken, but he got through it, and even looked somewhat relaxed in a few of the photos!
Amanda's dress was just to die for. I loved the ruffles from the first moment I saw it!
And here is one of the bridesmaids looking up the DVD cover from the Bridesmaids movie so we could recreate it.

Broke down limo bus. I am totally kicking myself for not getting a couple photos of the actual jump. I had pulled my car around in front, and left my camera in the front seat. The groomsmen seriously had it running in about 2 seconds, so I didn't have time!
Did I mention that Matt also hates dancing? :)
