Lydia + Justin | Champaign iHotel wedding photography
Lydia + Justin's wedding fell during the remnants of Hurricane Isaac as he traveled up through the Midwest. We desperately needed the rain, but I felt so bad for Lydia who had planned all these beautiful outdoor locations for photos, but was all week working on a contingency plan instead. We lucked out though because it rained all morning, and during the ceremony, but about the time we left the church for portraits on campus and downtown, the rain let up, and didn't bother us again all day! We also did quite a few portraits prior to the wedding at iHotel. The staff there is so gracious to wedding clients (and their photographers!), and I am so thankful they let us traipse all over the hotel doing photos. I love the engraving inside Justin's ring from Browne's Fine Jewelry. It's their wedding date in Roman numerals.
Lydia added her own bouquet "jewelry." She definitely is a stickler for details!!
They did their semi-private First Look in the conference center entrance to the hotel.

I took the guys out under the front desk overhang for some photos, and this is what happened on the way back in. Too cute!
I didn't even tell Justin what to do here. These two are just THAT GOOD.
Justin got pretty good at "fluffing" the dress by the end of the day!
I think this is going to be the next print hanging in the studio. Huzzah!
