Erin + Chris : Flatville, Champaign iHotel wedding photographer
Erin + Chris planned their wedding for 2nd part of October, which always leaves the weather odds in limbo. They lucked out with a gorgeous day, albeit a little wet grass. That didn't deter us at all though, as we traipsed around Erin's parents' farm following the ceremony, as well as the Arboretum. Poor Erin told me the week before the wedding that she does not like cheesy photos, and her wedding party was NOT willing to oblige. Erin was totally a good sport though, and played along with their hair-brained ideas. I will narrate them for you below. :) The ceremony took place at the Lutheran church in Flatville, followed by the reception at the always lovely iHotel. These two are so adorable together, and I wish the best happiness throughout their marriage. Leave a comment below the post, and after 50 comments, Erin + Chris will receive a complimentary 10x15" mounted print of their choice.
Erin is the 4th generation in her family to be married in this church. How cool is that? How gorgeous are these two? Lovely couple! If you've been reading my blog for very long, you know I'm a sucker for farm implements! And, well, anything farm related is the bee's knees. Their Centennial Farm sign takes the cake! Erin is a true farm girl through and through, and she had no problem traipsing through the wet ditches around the farm! The bridesmaids were trying to hitch a ride! This was one of the bridesmaids' other ideas, which I'm sure Erin thought was kind of cheesy, but she went along with it, and I think it turned ou cute!! Chris is an MMA fighter (he proposed to Erin after a fight!), so we had to get a couple wrestling poses in throughout the day. And then someone had the idea to do a football pose. And a Tebow is bound to follow! LOL This is perfect, Erin! What's a wedding-day portrait session without a good photobomb? ;) SWOON. I need this in a canvas. Their first dance was beautifully choreographed, and the two of them just floated around the dance floor. And then the real party started!
