Grant : Illini Central (Mason City) senior photography

I traveled back to my hometown of Easton/Mason City recently to do Grant's senior pictures. Grant played on the Illini Central boys basketball team that placed 3rd in state in the IHSA Class 1A tournament this past March. It was pretty cool getting to see the Cougars on TV last spring! If you look REALLY closely at the first photo below, you can see the very bottom of two banners from teams that I was a part of - Scholastic Bowl! I will refrain from telling you the years. ;) I enjoyed being back in the old gymnasium for a few minutes. We chatted some about which teachers are still there. I think Mr. Means may be the only one... he's still plugging & chugging (some of my friends/classmates will get that one!). I had chatted with Grant's mom a few times over the past year and a half, and they were excited to get his photos done I think. We incorporated Grant's love of basketball and fishing into the session, and went to one of his favorite fishing spots. I have to admit, Grant's was the first fishing bow I had ever seen. And even though we had to dodge some rain showers and ominous clouds, I think we came away with some pretty neat images. Leave a comment below, and after 25 comments, Grant will receive two complimentary 3x3" accordion albums!
